Google Photos Select All
Chrome extension that adds bulk-selection and keyboard shortcuts on Google Photos.
Features
Select All button
A floating Select All button appears in the bottom-right on photos.google.com.
- Scrolls through the photo grid and checks every visible photo checkbox
- Uses date-group “Select all photos from …” checkboxes when available
- Shows a loading state while selecting
- Works on album and library grids (not single-photo view)
Keyboard shortcuts
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Shift + W | Move selected photos (or the open photo) to trash / bin, including confirm dialog |
| Shift + Cmd + A (Mac) / Shift + Ctrl + A (Windows/Linux) | Open the Create or add to album → Album dialog |
| Shift + 1 | Add selection to the last album you used |
Shortcuts are ignored while typing in an input, textarea, or contenteditable field.
Delete / trash (Shift + W)
- Clicks the visible Delete / Move to trash / Move to bin control, or opens it via More options
- Confirms the delete dialog automatically
- On search lightbox photo views (where trash often does nothing), navigates to the canonical
/photo/<id>page and retries trash there
Add to album
- Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + A opens the album picker for the current selection
- Choosing an album remembers it in extension storage
- Shift + 1 re-adds to that last-used album without reopening the full picker flow manually
Install (unpacked)
